Established under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 on October 07, 2022, after completing necessary formalities such as establishing systems and procedures. Initially, operations were launched in Bhadohi District, Uttar Pradesh.

The organization is led by a distinguished team of directors and top management with extensive experience across banking, microfinance, social development, finance, and technology, ensuring strong leadership and strategic guidance at the highest level. Ahobal Federation's approach is designed to become a scalable model for others to follow , With a strong emphasis on transparency, Ahobal Federation has put in place well-defined systems and procedures that are followed rigorously. The business model focuses on providing financial support to rural communities through livelihood activities, including agriculture, allied agricultural services, and small-scale businesses, through the Self-Help Group (SHG) and Joint Liability Group (JLG) models.
